What’s there:
– Nature Play the kids picked up a card which had items to then ‘go seek’ amongst the gardens. We picked up ‘wildlife’ to spot birds, insects, butterflies. There was also other cards to seek colours and/or leafage.
– Within the Ian Potter Children’s Garden you’ll find Water Play which is great when weather is warmer and the kids enjoyed running through it to cool off.
– Kitchen Garden the kids took watering cans and magnify glasses and looked through this garden to identify different herbs that I cook.
– Arid Garden is hard to spot it’s FULL of Cacti and succulents. There’s also a kids activity in this area where they try to find different cacti and trace over them with chalk provided.
– The Explorer Bus again this is such a large space so if you have kids or elderly it’s a great option to pre book the bus and you can use Small Ideas 2 for 1 discount.
– on site Cafe so of course, we purchased home made ice cream also bribery to leave as the kids could of stayed till night fall they enjoyed so much!
It’s free to enter and I just loved this day out, watching kids be kids running in large spaces, exploring, squealing over what they could spy and climbing trees!
